From EndNote® to Zotero
1. Open your library in EndNote®.
2. Choose your style (for Zotero import, BibTeX format is recommended) from the output style menu.
3. Make certain you have everything selected in your library (if you only have a few things selected, they will be the only ones exported). Note: We recommend that you export no more than 2500 records in any one export-batch. You can create multiple files and import them into another tool to reconstitute your EndNote® library.
4. From the File menu, choose Export. Name the document and save as .txt or .rtf.
5. Check your data to make certain you have everything that should have exported.
7. From the Actions menu, choose Import.
8. Select the .txt or .rtf file that contains your library and click Open.
9. Your items will be imported into your Zotero library in a separate collection, named for the date and time it was imported. You can change this name to something more meaningful if you prefer.
10. Check your items for any necessary data clean up.
